Services

  • Every family struggles with unique behaviors and issues that they may benefit from a tailored approach geared to your specific concerns.

If you thrive from having one-on-one time with someone to discuss specific needs, then this service is for you. I would love to hear all about your current struggles and provide step by step tips to support healing and healthy connection in your home.

  • Do you feel like you’re always yelling when your child is throwing a tantrum or frustrated when they won’t calm down? Ever feel like your child’s behaviors are difficult for you to be around? Many times, parenting triggers things from our own childhood, without us even knowing.

Individual therapy may provide a deeper understanding of why it’s difficult to connect with your child during these times. I also specialize in providing individual therapy for those who have had severe traumatic experiences in their childhood or adolescence - whether it be from abuse, neglect, abandonment, removal from their home, loss of a parent, and loss of a loved one.

  • My groups are designed to allow parents and their children to connect to their biggest triggers in a group setting with other parents and children separately.

Once the triggers are identified, we will begin to identify coping skills that we can utilize to manage these triggers. Once you and your child have been successful in this step, we then merge both groups to heal in a community setting.

Groups can be offered both in-person or virtual and will be released throughout the year.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a technique that helps support those with traumatic histories to adapt their current level of distress to one more manageable.

EMDR allows the client to discover all the ways they have felt that way in the past or how they could feel that way in the future. It provides a client with a way to relieve trauma symptoms while not needing to have to talk about the trauma repeatedly. Provides clients with specific coping skills for their unique situation.

  • Do you and your family struggle with connection? Have you experienced big moments of unexpected turmoil or loss?

Do you and your parenting partner struggle to communicate about the needs of your children? Are you and your parenting partner going through a divorce or having issues agree on what is best for your children?

I specialize in this deeply complex work utilizing a healing approach for all those involved and helping everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Reach out to me today for a consult!

  • For many foster youth, especially those who age out of foster care, having someone they can check in with for advice and support can be beneficial.
